What is Big Data?

Big data is larger, more complex data sets, especially from new data sources. These data sets are so large that traditional data processing software cannot manage them. Analysis of big data is used to power Machine Learning algorithms and further Artificial Intelligence initiatives

The collection and mishandling of personal data is at the core of the privacy debate. With the emergence of big tech, data is the commodity that drives our society. While the responsible use of big data can lead to major advancements in technology, an irresponsible use of the data compromises individual privacy. Finding the right balance is a consideration faced by companies every day.
